How to register

We are currently offering services in person, by telephone and by video on Microsoft Teams.

Please note – due high demand, our waiting list for counselling is currently closed.

However, we are able to offer you a one-off consultation with a counsellor, to discuss your circumstances and wellbeing needs and to signpost you towards other service(s). 

We are can offer you this consultation in person, by telephone or by video via your University of Edinburgh Microsoft Teams account.

To register with the Staff Counselling Service please download the Registration Form (below) and email the completed form  to Staff.Counsellor@ed.ac.uk.    If you have any queries or would like assistance to complete the form please email Staff.Counsellor@ed.ac.uk or call the service on 0131 650 2513.

Once we have processed your referral we will get in touch by email to offer you an In-person, telephone or video (on Microsoft Teams) one-off consultation at a time you indicated you are available.  Emails will be sent to your University email account or an alternative email account if requested.

 

Alternatively you may wish to access the Employee Assistance Programme.  The EAP offers appointments by video and telephone only and is able to offer appointments quickly.  For more information please see the EAP page.
