What is SilverCloud?

Online CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy) is available free on the SilverCloud platform. This support is offered free through NHS Scotland, which means staff can access this support. The programmes on offer are designed to be flexible, effective and easy to use. Some of the programmes are aimed at parents or carers; others could be useful to any adult. You can sign up for any programme. Those aimed at adults are:

  • Space from Challenging Times: can help you manage your mental health in challenging times.
  • Space for Sleep: can teach you the skills for overcoming your sleep difficulties, allowing you to achieve better quality sleep and wake up feeling refreshed.
  • Space for Resilience: can achieve a sense of wellbeing and satisfaction, in all areas of your life.
  • Space from Stress: can help enhance existing stress-busting strengths and skills, and build new ones.
  • Space from Money Worries: can help you to manage the practical and emotional issues around money worry.
  • Space for Positive Body Image: can help you to build a positive body image and develop a healthy relationship with food.
  • Self-Management Toolkit: can help you to become an optimal self-manager by learning skills and tools that you can use during periods of change and uncertainty.
